Making smart buildings the new normal.

Client: Legrand. Agency: Brand Definition

To make the concept of “architectural intelligence” tangible and approachable on a modest budget, I combined animated laser projections with unit blocks—the classic wooden building toys found in every kindergarten classroom.

Projecting light onto objects (vs. compositing it in with motion graphics) had a dual benefit: mundane surfaces like walls and blocks seemed to come alive in a more realistic way, while the simple animations looked richer because of how the light interacted with physical materials.
