I started working with Aboard after covering them as a journalist. They told me that my explanation of their platform had led to potential clients saying, “I finally understand what you are trying to do.” So when Aboard wanted to do something similar for AI agents—i.e., create a resource that would cut through hype while being not just readable, but enjoyable—they brought me in.

I conducted in-depth interviews with Aboard’s founders and engineers to surface best practices and no-nonsense perspectives, then synthesized them into an authoritative, magazine-style report on what agents can (and can’t) do for businesses operating in the real world—not the AI hype cycle.
